"Vibration Capital" welcomes good news again: National industry associations settle in Xinxiang County

On August 22, the Vibration Machinery Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association was officially established in Xinxiang County, our province. Industry insiders said that this is the first national industry association that focuses on vibration machinery. In the future, it will play an important role in setting standards, promoting innovation, and strengthening supervision.

Why did such a high-standard industry organization settle in Xinxiang County? What is the original intention of its establishment? What role will it play? The reporter interviewed relevant persons in charge of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association on this matter.

The China Heavy Machinery Industry Association is a cross-regional and cross-departmental national industry organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the State, which is engaged in the production, scientific research, design, complete sets, and education of metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, material handling machinery, heavy forging machinery, large castings and forgings and related supporting parts. It has more than 1,200 member units.

According to the subdivision of the industry, including the Mining Machinery Branch, the Material Handling Engineering Equipment Complete Set and Service Branch, and the Bridge Crane Professional Committee, the branches of the Heavy Machinery Association have been maintained at 20 in recent years.

Today, it welcomes its 21st member-the Vibration Machinery Branch.

"This is a decision we made based on the needs of the current industry development." Wang Jisheng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, said that vibration machinery is currently widely used in metallurgy, coal, building materials and other industries. Vibration technology is needed in many links such as screening and feeding. For example, in agricultural production and food processing, grain granulation, fruit sorting, etc. At the same time, vibration machinery is actually a very theoretical industry. How to use algorithms to accurately control the frequency of vibration, reduce destructiveness and improve practicality, which has high requirements for innovation ability.

"At present, the problem of the vibration machinery industry being large but not strong is more prominent. Measures need to be taken in both technology and industry, and there is a lot of room for improvement." Jing Xiaobo, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, said that the purpose of establishing a vibration machinery branch is to promote technological progress and industrial upgrading through industry collaboration, technological innovation, and industrial cultivation, to expand and strengthen the vibration machinery industry, and to play an important role in achieving the goal of a strong manufacturing country.

According to reports, the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association will provide guidance to the Vibration Machinery Branch at a higher level and on a larger scale, helping the branch to discover and solve industry development bottlenecks and general technical problems by building platforms and formulating plans, and guide the direction of enterprise development.

Why Xinxiang County?

Why did a national industry association choose to settle in Xinxiang County?

It is reported that the vibration machinery industry in Xinxiang County started early and has a concentrated industrial layout. In the 1970s, Xinxiang County had state-owned enterprises such as the Henan Xinxiang Hongwei Machinery Factory and the state-owned Xinxiang County Vibration Equipment Factory, and was one of the eight characteristic industrial bases in Henan Province.

After more than 50 years of development, there are 334 vibration equipment manufacturers, more than 110 supporting production enterprises, and 18 large-scale vibration enterprises. In 2022, the total output value of the county's vibration industry will be nearly 10 billion yuan, accounting for 30% of the total output value of the national vibration industry. At present, a development pattern with a full range of products and a high market share has been formed. Xinxiang County can produce more than 1,000 types of vibration equipment in 45 series, including mining screens, light industrial screens, swing screens, etc. The products are widely used in many key fields such as steel, metallurgy, coal, mining, petrochemicals, etc., and are exported to more than 80 countries and regions in Asia, America, Europe, etc., with a domestic market share of 63%.

Xinxiang County has also seen the emergence of a large number of leading enterprises such as Gaofu Machinery and Yutong Motor, ranking among the top three in the domestic vibration screening market share.

On April 20 this year, the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association awarded Xinxiang County the title of "Vibration Capital".

According to Wang Jisheng, the branch chose to be established in Xinxiang County, which will effectively help local vibration enterprises improve their innovation capabilities and increase the visibility of local industry brands, thereby further enhancing the agglomeration effect of the vibration industry in Xinxiang County and promoting the development of the industry and local economy.

What should the Vibration Machinery Branch do?

"Only when the entire vibration industry is in a healthy development, can each of our companies have a broader space for growth." Wang Simin, the first chairman of the Vibration Machinery Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, said that the branch will build an innovative development platform, introduce an industry self-discipline mechanism, give full play to the bridge value of the Vibration Machinery Branch in the industry, and better serve the development of the vibration machinery industry.

It is reported that the core tasks of the Vibration Machinery Branch mainly include four aspects:

Do a good job in industrial planning and lead industrial development. Conduct a survey of vibration machinery companies, and make scientific plans from the aspects of industrial development positioning, industrial system, industrial structure, industrial chain, spatial layout, etc. through research and data analysis, and lead the healthy and orderly development of the industry through industrial planning.

Promote industrial upgrading and enhance the height of the industry. The vibration machinery industry belongs to the traditional non-standard industry. The standardization of products and accessories of various enterprises is not universal, and there is a lack of scientific and unified technical specifications and product standards. The Vibration Machinery Branch plans to start from some general indicators such as environment (dust, noise), safety, quality, etc., standardize the reference to national, industry, and enterprise standards, and formulate a series of implementation standards to promote the vibration machinery industry to truly move closer to modern and market-oriented industrial manufacturing.

Promote cooperative innovation and optimize resource allocation. Give full play to their respective advantages and strengthen cooperation, so that the level of each enterprise in production, research and development, testing, operation and maintenance will be greatly improved.

Establish a self-discipline mechanism and build a benign ecology. Through government supervision, association leadership and enterprise participation, establish a self-discipline mechanism for the vibration machinery industry and jointly maintain a benign ecology for industrial development.

"I hope that after the establishment of the association, it will give full play to its advantages in market, information, talents and other aspects, provide valuable opinions and professional guidance for the development of the vibration industry in Xinxiang County, and promote the high-quality development of the vibration industry in our county."
